    "One word, two pictures, three ceramics, four wood", playing Tet pictures, an elegant hobby of the Vietnamese people has long been a unique cultural feature, a traditional custom containing many layers of meaning. that each generation wishes to preserve. Along with peach branches and kumquat trees, folk paintings on Tet are what many Vietnamese families choose. People often choose to buy paintings in the hope of bringing good luck home, taking down old paintings and hanging new ones with the meaning "Toss the old, welcome the new".
    Pursuing Graffiti - an art form nurtured from a love of street painting, Cyril Kongo is interested in the similarities between the two beauties of Vietnamese Tet painting and this genre of painting. This is the inspiration for him to create a Spring painting every year, transforming the traditional mascot from a contemporary perspective and in his own way.

Cyril Kongo’s artworks is marked by his experience and his vision of life. After painting in the streets for more than 30 years and working so that graffiti can be perceived differently, this artist is now considered as a pioneer who understood how to break the codes and build something new through his contemporary and “avant-gardiste” point of view. His influences are multicultural, his level of excellence and his capacity to create new bridges between opposite worlds has forged his style and career.
